Regular avalanche courses fill up at the start of the season, and work schedules keep people away. This course solves that: it is held where and when your group wants.
- Content: double group check, transceiver search, probing, shovelling, scenario training, care after digging someone out. If time allows: compression test, weak-layer tests, rescuing someone who fell into a stream hole.
- Place: where you want (around Asahikawa, around Sapporo, etc.)
- Length: about 4 hours
- The instructor lives in Sapporo; distant locations may carry an extra charge
- Groups of 10 or more may be declined, or run with a support instructor at extra cost
- Very small groups at distant locations may carry an extra charge or be declined
- If the group is small, the date may be changed to open it to more people
